The Code of Ethics expresses the ethical responsibilities related to the conduct of corporate affairs activities undertaken by Hitachi Rail and those having relationships of any kind with the Company
Hitachi Rail SpA adopted as substantial references in ethical matters the Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/01 and the Code of Ethics as well as the Code of Conduct of the Hitachi Group, documents which complement each other , while maintaining their own autonomous value.
The Code of Ethics, in particular, expresses the commitments and the ethical responsibilities, related to the conduct of business and corporate affairs/activities undertaken by Members of the Board (of Directors?) employees, collaborators of Hitachi Rail S.p.A. as well as suppliers, partners and/or those having relationships of any kind with the Company.
All they are committed to pursue the company’s goals by adopting an operational behaviour coherent with principles and values such as ethics, expertise, worthiness, innovation, quality, excellence, internationalism, Complete Observance of Rules and sustainability.
The Code of Ethics promotes a corporate culture based on high standards of accountability , proper management and integrity in the conduct of activities.
Hitachi Rail SpA applies the principle of transparency, ensuring the truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of corporate information.
The application of these principles implies assuming personal responsibility internally and externally the company.
Key elements of the Code of Ethics of Hitachi Rail SpA and of the Code of Conduct of Hitachi Group are the values of honesty and integrity in the conduct of business activities, the principles of compliance with laws and regulations, the characteristics of internationalism and multiculturalism, the attention to safety and environment thematic, the objectives of excellence, competitiveness and technology as well as the importance of sustainability in relation to its stakeholders.
